We met Joseph at our Career Day last June where he impressed the students with his exuberant personality and "can do" attitude. He was the first from the USA to graduate in the sculpture department at the Central Academy of Beijing. He has kindly offered to share with us his studio space for an afternoon.
In Jingdezhen you either decorate the ceramic pieces by painting or using decals. Joseph helped us understand how to use decals by giving us designs that he provided to create our ceramic objects.
